Following our work with the print edition of Wang Jingwei & Modern China, we have been asked to produce each of the six e-books from the series.
In addition, we have exciting plans for other e-books, which we will market, promote, and publish by our affiliate EIGHT CORNERS BOOKS™.

Original source materials unveiled for the first time
Presented with a trove of primary source materials, our first task was to carefully decipher and transcribe thousands of pages of never-before-seen manuscripts. This challenge was matched only by the marketing of a six-volume series about a time in modern Chinese history which remains little understood to this day. The result?

Finding beauty in a city with a troubled reputation
Photographer and author Cindy Ho found beauty and energy in the colors, textures, physical space, and most of all, the people of Macau, a tiny enclave off the coast of China. More than a collection of photographs, additional research, statistical information and historical background completes this volume as a tribute to the people of Macau.

A designer’s journey to where the writing is
A Hong Kong born graphic designer’s chance encounter with a pictographic script became a photographic journey to discover an aspect of China, and what “Chinese people” meant through the writings of its ethnic groups. EIGHT CORNERS™ helped select thousands of images and curated the voluminous material into the catalog and a series of exhibitions.
